General

All the eucalypts are now included in genus Eucalyptus, with Angophora and Corymbia now included in Eucalyptus. Some of the rationale for this change is provided in Nicolle (2024).
Updated names

Corymbia eremaea subsp. eremaea (p. 20):
Now known as Eucalyptus eremaea subsp. eremaea (Nicolle 2024).

Corymbia opaca (p. 22):
Now known as Eucalyptus opaca (Nicolle 2024).

Corymbia terminalis (p. 24):
Now known as Eucalyptus terminalis (Nicolle 2024).

Eucalyptus sp. Great Victoria Desert (p. 96):
Now formally named as Eucalyptus omissa (Nicolle & French 2021).

Eucalyptus polybractea (p. 190):
South Australian populations (North Flinders Ranges) now included in Eucalyptus cajuputea (Fahey et al. 2022).

Eucalyptus petiolaris (p. 206):
Now recognised at subspecies status as Eucalyptus leucoxylon subsp. petiolaris (Nicolle 2024).

Sequence of species modified due to updated classification (Nicolle 2021).

Formalised regional conservation status for eucalypt species in the Adelaide/Mt Lofty Ranges and Kangaroo Island regions of South Australia (Gillam & Urban 2014a, 2014b, and link).

Eucalyptus camaldulensis (p. 44, Authority):
Updated type information including designation of epitype (Brooker & Orchard 2008).

Eucalyptus vokesensis (p. 76):
New population recorded in WA near WA/SA border - No longer endemic to SA.

Eucalyptus leptophylla (p. 94, Authority):
Updated type information including designation of epitype (Nicolle & French 2021).

Eucalyptus canescens subsp. beadellii (p. 146):
New population recorded in WA near WA/SA border - No longer endemic to SA.
